II) Class XI (Arts, Commerce and Science)
  • The results of the Class XI will not be decided on the marks obtained by a student only in the Annual examination. Equal weight will be given to the performance of students in assignments, tutorial examinations, oral examination, practical and project work (whichever is applicable), the internal evaluation and written examinations. The final results will be based on the average marks secured by a student in these examinations.
  • Viva-voce : Viva-voce are introduced in few subjects (all languages, all subjects in Arts faculty and all subjects in Commerce faculty) at class XI and XII levels from June 2006. Taking oral examinations as per scheduled timetables is compulsory for all students.
    (Theory : 80 Marks) + (Oral : 20 Marks) = 100 Marks
  • Practical Examinations : Appearing for Practical examinations in Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) as per scheduled timetables is compulsory for all students. Absentees will have to appear for re-examinations only on payment of a fine fixed by the authorities.
    (Theory : 70 marks) + (Practical : 30 Marks) = 100 Marks
  • In case, a student misses any examination for any reason (such as on medical ground), he/ she must make a written application to the Principal along with documentary evidences in proper time.
  • There shall be no re-examination in case of students who fail in class XI.
  • 20% of questions in final examination should be included from the 1st Term syllabus.
  • Evaluation of XI classes for all the subjects will be as follows :
    1st Term
    Internal Evaluation 25 Marks
    Written Examination 50 Marks
    2nd Term
    Internal Evaluation 25 Marks
    Final Written Examination 100 Marks

    Average Results = 25 + 50 + 25 + 100 = 200/2 = 100 Marks

III) Class XII (Arts, Commerce and Science)

Note :

  • No change of subjects is allowed at XII level without the Principal’s permission.
  • The evaluation pattern may be changed / revised as per guidelines of Maharashtra State Board.
