Guidelines for Admission

A) Availability of Seats

B) Eligibility

A candidate being eligible for admission to F. Y. J. C. must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) Examination conducted by Maharashtra State Board or CBSE or ICSE.

Students passing an examination of F.Y.J.C., from other Junior College with same board and seeking admission to the S.Y.J.C. will be admitted only on production of Leaving Certificate and Marksheet of S.S.C. and F.Y.J.C. in original along with true copies within two month from the date of admission failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled.

C) Documents Required for Admission
  1. Original school leaving certificate with certified copy (2 photo copies each).
  2. Two certified Xerox copies of marks statement.
  3. Three recent passport size photographs.
  4. Caste certificate (with validity) with one attested copy of the same.
  5. Income certificate Xerox.
  6. Aadhar card Xerox
  7. Domicile certificate Xerox .
  8. Ration card Xerox.
  9. Bank passbook Xerox.
In other cases, it is necessary to produce :
  • If applicants parent(s) belong to Serviceman/ Ex-serviceman category, then one of the following documents is required :
    • For serviceman copy of service certificate
    • For Ex-serviceman discharged certificate / Certificate issued by District sainik board
  • If applicants parent has been transferred then the certificate showing transfer of the employee as well as joining is required.
  • If applicant belonging to Handicapped category then the certificate showing at least 40% disability issued by civil surgeon or dean of any government official / municipal id required.
  • If applicant belongs to sports category then mention his / her level of participation. The certificate from competent authority as stated by GR. No. HSC/1707/(222/07)/Umashi-1 dated 25th March, 2010 is required.
  • If applicant belongs to cultural category then a certificate from “Directorate of Arts and Culture” is required

Note : The above fee structure have been finalized by Local management committee for 2020-21. All students have to pay separate, yearly exam fees decided by the management in two separate terms i.e. 350 + 350 = 700
