Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

M. B. More Women College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It offers Three Year integrated course in Science, leading to B.Sc, Degree awarded by the University of Mumbai. The Bachelor of Science degree course is considered as a foundation course for students who wish to pursue multi and inter-disciplinary science careers in future. The course is most apt for students who have a strong interest and background in Science and Mathematics.

After the completion of a BSc degree, candidates can opt to pursue Master of Science (MSc) or even secure admission in a professional job-oriented course.

B.Sc. syllabus is broken into six semesters and continuous evaluation is done in each semester. The Choice Based Credit and Grading System (CBCGS) has been implemented at the Mumbai University for all the under Graduate (UG) programs under the faculty of Art’s Commerce and Science from the academic year 2011-12.

Eligibility Criteria

The Mumbai University’s eligibility criteria for B.Sc. course specify that candidates should clear Class 12th in Science stream with minimum 50% - 60% aggregate marks from a recognised board. Basic skills and traits that candidates should have to pursue a BSc course are: Observation skills, Problem-solving skills, Analytical skills, Research skills. The College offers admission to B.Sc. course on the basis of merit in 10+2.
