Establishment The Department of History was founded with the establishment of More Women College in 2012.

Aims & objectives
  1. To help society develop a sense of their cultural heritage.
  2. Define, explore and explain major historical problems.
  3. To encourage the student to study the glorious past of India.
  4. To encourage the students to explore various methods of understanding History.
  5. To acquire a knowledge and understanding of Regional, National and world history.
  6. To give critical analysis of historical events.
