Science Association

Aim : To encourage in born curiosity of learners & to Inculcate Scientific Temper among society.

Objective : The objectives of the Science Association are to:

To enable students to develop inquiring minds and curiosity about science and the natural world among the students.
To enable students to describe and discuss ways in which science is applied and used to solve local and global problems.
To discuss with students, how science and its applications interact with social, economic, political, environmental, cultural and ethical factors.
To communicate scientific information with students using a range of scientific language and evaluate scientific information from different sources (Internet, newspaper articles, television, scientific texts and publications) and assess its credibility.
To carry out scientific investigations using materials and techniques safely and skillfully.
To enable students to show respect for themselves and others, and deal responsibly with the living and non-living environment.
To arrange guests / students’ meet at least once in a month.
To display cuttings/photographs copies of important scientific achievements reported in magazines /journals on notice board.
To arrange personality development programme for science students.
To organise activities such as training camps, awareness campaigns etc. in co-ordination with other committees.
To maintain records of the activities conducted and submit the same to the IQAC Committee.
