Aim : To impart leadership and sense of responsibility towards the nation.

Objective :
The main objectives of College National Service Scheme (NSS) Committee are to :

• To enable students to understand the community in which they work and develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.
• To identify the needs and problems of the community and utilise their volunteer’s knowledge in finding practical solutions.
• To enable students to develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities.
• To enable students to acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes.
• To enable students to develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters and practise national integration and social harmony.
• To plan and execute N.S.S. Programmes for the year.
• To distribute the work for the NSS volunteers for maintenance of cleanliness in and around the College, campus beautification and gardening.
• To conduct Special N.S.S. camp and to submit the audited statement of accounts at the end of the year.
• To maintain the records of the activities conducted and submit the same to the IQAC Committee.
